Some helpful ways to remember diffusion and active transport.

Diffusion is simple just the flow of a high concentration to a low concentration. this is sort of like how when someone sprays perfume that is doesn't fill the room immediately but over time eventually it will disperse its self through the room.

facilitated diffusion is just like diffusion but threw a membrane. it still flows from a high concentration to a low concentration

osmosis is the same a diffusion but with water specifically.

Active transport is when a low concentration goes to a high concentration and the only way this happens is if energy is spent so this can happen.

hope this was helpful :)

I like moving around and doing things, so if I was to be a cell organelle I would be a ribosomes. the ribosome dose all of the work for the cell and is one of the most important part of the cell because without them cells would die. I know that this is evident with many parts of the cell but I believe that ribosomes do most of the work and deserve some of the credit.

In my opinion i think our lab went vary well indeed. we were one of the first groups done. one thing that i liked about these labs are that we are able to sit in chairs now which is really nice because be for we had to stand all of the time. some problems that we had was that the concentration of the KMnO4 was not correct. the part about this lab that i am most worried about is doing the lab because i still remember doing the chemistry lab and that took a long time to fix and i have never really liked doing reports.

Intro

Hello- I am Jared, I am a gaming fanatic and love to hang out with my friends when I have the time to do so. I am in AP Bio because I am interested in the science field and want to narrow down the search for what I want to do for a job. when I finish the class I hope that I have a better sense of what I want to be in terms of career choice.

In this class i am most looking forward to anything that has to do with animals and how they behave. I've always been interested in animals and love all of the animals that are in my life. i am least interested in learning about how the body parts work together. the reason for that is because i like more of the chemistry part of the class. i am really looking forward to the part where we talk about animals :) <3
